Huge thanks and smooches to all the wonderful readers who helped On Lavender Lane land on the New York Times bestseller list at #9, and also on the Publishers Weekly and USA Today bestseller lists. (And those of you who bought it at Barnes and Noble helped it stay #1 on that list for two weeks!)

As I write this on February 3rd, it's been on the NYT list for four weeks, so there's much celebrating around our house. Those who missed it can check out the back cover copy, excerpt, and reviews on the book's page.

Wow, there was a lot of response to my FIND LUCAS contest! So much so, when copyedits for Moonshell Beach arrived and were due back on February 1, I had to put the announcement off for a couple days.

Anyway. . . The winner, chosen at random, who'll receive either a Kindle Touch or a Nook Simple Touch (or a gift card equivalent of $99) is Stephanie Baker, of Massachusetts!

If you didn't win this time, you'll have another opportunity since I'll be holding a similar contest when Moonshell Beach, Marine J.T. Douchett's story, comes out July 3rd, just in time for summer beach reading. The heroine is Mary Joyce, who was a tempestous teenage in A Woman's Heart, the first in my Irish Castlelough trilogy. Mary, who's grown up to be a movie star, arrives in Shelter Bay for the town's first film festival.

Meanwhile, resuming February 12th, I'll be sharing weekly Sunday six sentence sneak previews of upcoming books and having backlist book giveaways on my blog. I'm also on Facebook and twitter, where I enjoy chatting with readers and hope to see some of you there!
