Friday Photo!

This week’s Friday Photo is of Angel, our new rescued furbaby we’re driving to Tacoma to bring home today! She’s an 11-yr-old Australian shepherd whose owner had to go into assisted living. Having grown up in Oregon ranching country with Aussies, shelties, and collies, I love herders! There apparently were a bunch of other people who wanted her ( even someone in Indiana!), but I wrote a letter with our application listing all the reasons why we’d be perfect parents that —yay!—moved us to the top of the list.✒️

Wednesday Words

Kensington has reissued the Silver Belle anthology with one of my Christmas novellas!  Mystery author Holly Berry’s SUV has broken down in the little hamlet of Santa’s Village, Washington. Holly hates the holidays — that is until lodge owner Gabriel O’Halloran and his five-year-old daughter rekindle her belief in magic and Christmas wishes…

JoAnn Ross contributes a fine story to this holiday collection. Humor and passion both abound when Holly Berry is re-introduced to the joys of the season. Emma’s Christmas wish for a new mother added to Gabriel’s sexy passion seal the deal for Holly. DEAR SANTA is Miracle On Thirty-Fourth Street with a handsome ex-marine thrown in as a bonus!” ~ Fresh Fiction

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! AND national cake day! What’s your favorite cake? I usually make German chocolate or devil’s food for hubs’s birthday, but this time of year I make a three layer white Italian coconut rum cake with white buttercream frosting & red and green maraschino cherries spaced around the top to look Christmasy. And thinking of it, coconut and rum don’t sound Italian, but that’s what the recipe I got from Southern Living magazine many, many yrs ago called it.
