DEAR SANTA, my novella in the anthology with Fern Michaels, Mary Burton, and Judy Duarte is currently spending its 5th week on the SILVER BELLS NYT and USA Today lists. Unlike my High Risk suspense books, this story's part how The Grinch Stole Christmas, part Miracle on 34th Street. My heroine, mystery writer Holly Berry, is who I imagine the Natalie Wood character in Miracle would have grown up to be if she hadn't met Santa until she was an adult. I had a fabulous time writing Gabe and Holly's story and hope readers will enjoy them as much as I did. Oh, and did I mention paperback books -- especially Christmas stories -- make fabulous stocking stuffers?
