Happy August! The workmen FINALLY finished the patio roof extension, so we’re getting our outdoor life back for however more weeks we have of our short Northwest summer. And speaking of Pacific Time, to all of you in Northern California, please stay safe! Hubs put himself through college and saved money for grad school fighting wildfires in Oregon and the forest across the border that’s blazing now, and we’d visit Mt. Shasta (which I could see from my bedroom window) and Redding often. Including driving down to the drag races after my junior prom. (And yes, we did change clothes!) So, my heart is with all the residents, firefighters, and animals in harm’s way today. Hugs!
