When my husband and I were growing up in our small Oregon ranching /timber town, we’d love having cokes and burgers at this Newberry’s lunch counter. Up on the wall behind the grill would be huge posters of Santa drinking a Coca Cola. Every year, I’d wait to see the new one added to the collection. I still think of them with great fondness (especially this time of year) and believe I’ll put them up somewhere in River’s Bend. Maybe in the mercantile.
